MIT 100K

For 29 years, the MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition has been bringing together students and researchers from across MIT and Greater Boston to launch their talent, ideas, and technology into leading companies. The competition is run as a series of distinct, increasingly intensive contests: Pitch, Accelerate, and Launch.

MIT Venture Mentoring Service

The MIT VMS supports innovation and entrepreneurial activity throughout the MIT community by matching both prospective and experienced entrepreneurs with skilled volunteer mentors.

Sandbox Fund

MIT Sandbox provides seed funding for student-initiated entrepreneurship ideas, mentoring from within MIT and from a broad network of committed partners, and tailored educational experiences.

E14 Fund

A dedicated fund associated with the MIT Media Lab. They host events, mentor and guide student entrepreneurs, advise founders, and deploy first outside capital to young startups.

The Engine

MIT’s tough tech incubator provides funding, facilities, services, and partner networks to founders and provides long term capital to sustain their growth. They focus predominantly on underrepresented tough tech breakthrough innovations.

MIT Bitcoin Expo

Featuring a hackathon, a pitch competition, tons of speakers, and industry discussions, the MIT Bitcoin expo is the largest single event gathering of blockchain practitioners in the region.

MIT DesignX Accelerator

MIT DESIGNX is an academic venture accelerator in the MIT School of Architecture and Planning dedicated to design innovation and entrepreneurship. We empower students, faculty and researchers to build new business ventures and forward-thinking solutions designed to address critical challenges facing the future of cities and the human environment.

Start Smart Class for Entrepreneurs

A hands-on workshop for entrepreneurs, our Start Smart class focuses on the steps required to prep a solid understanding of your target market so you can launch and grow your science/technology company successfully. CEOs, successful entrepreneurs, and investors who’ve done it all before are invited guest speakers and an integral component of the learning experience!
